Module Aims : The aim of this module is to provide students with an understanding of fundamental principles of management science. It is geared to develop skills in formulating basic mathematical models and familiarize students with the main algorithms used in management science. The unit also addresses the use of IT and quantitative methods for managing performance in organizations.

Learning outcomes : Use mathematics in operations research to accomplish real life tasks in problems arising from business, industry and government in the best way possible.
