OnePly® tissue technology datasheet

The concept

• The softness and the absorption are the same or more than equivalent multiple-layer paper

• The energy consumption and the CO2 generation is much lower than standard tissue, 60% less

• The technology uses less grammage, cogeneration technology, chemical strategy, crepping intensity and investments on photovoltaic electricity and biomass boiler to achieve its benefits

• The goal of OnePly is to reach zero CO2 emissions

CO2-neutral packaging

By using cardboard boxes, OnePly® products retain their low CO2 emission levels throughout the packaging process, creating an end-to-end eco-friendly solution.

Decrease in rolls usage thanks to last-longing rolls

•Buying paper by meters, not by rolls

•A Megaroll contains 40 m, a OnePly roll 80 m. We call it a Gigaroll.

•A Megaroll cleans 8 days/person; a Gigaroll cleans 16 days/person

•A Jumbo OnePly roll cleans 60 days/person

Handtowel OnePly® products

•Drying the hands is required to clean the bacteria

•Drying with hot air dispensers increases the bacteria on the hands and creates dispersion of the aforementioned bacteria

•Drying with textile wipes increases the bacteria as a consequence of the wet environment

•Drying with paper towel is the more effective solution

Handtowel OnePly® products

OnePly® tissue technology datasheet

Handtowel OnePly® products

•We clean the hands on hospitals, kitchen, toilets...

•The towel for kitchen usage is blue in order to distinguish the paper from the food. Cleaning with paper towel is much more hygienic than wet textile in the kitchen

•We also dry the udder of a cow after milking to avoid the generation of bacteria, amongst other possible applications

OnePly® tissue technology datasheet

Less fibers

•OnePly is made with bleached pine pulp, bleached eucaliptus pulp, bleached termomechanical birch pulp, and unbleached pine pulp

•All pulp is FSC and PSFC certified

•OnePly also uses corrugated cardboard and mixed office wastepaper

OnePly® tissue technology datasheet

Certificates and auditing

•We are certified as FSC, PSFC, Ecolabel, ISO 14.001 and ISO 14.067 for CO2 footprint

•The value of the 2015 CO2 certificate is 1.158 kg/CO2/kg for toilet and 671 for towel

•OnePly is also suited for food contact
