Jack walks to school every day in the city with his friend Kim. Jack does not like smoke because he has asthma.

On the way, they say a power plant polluting the air.

The asthma affects Jack’s lungs. Jack goes to the doctor. “You have to stay for a week,” said the doctor.

Kim’s mother walks to the power plant with the children to talk with the power plant people about not polluting that much.

They say “sorry, but people need electricity.” “Can you make less electricity?” said Kim.

Kim’s mother and the kids talk about not using a lot of electricity so the power plan does not pollute the air a lot.

Then they tell the people in the town an in the city to use less electricity. “Let the sunlight come in instead of using electricity,” they told the people.

The people use less electricity so the power plan doesn’t pollute that much. Now Jack is feeling better because the air is cleaner.

We should not use lots of electricity because that can cause pollution and sickness.
