Crossing the line cermnies. This is a time honored decree m n g seafarers that no one m y cross the equator for the first time without proper initiation and sanctification.
Consequently, the Shellbacks aboard (those who have crossed the line) w r e given the task of preparing the Polymgs (those who have not crossed the 1 ine) for acceptance into the darain of King Neptune and Davey Jones. The lawly and deprived uogs w r e put through a challenging array of obstacles designed to test their worth as future Shellbacks. Through the two days of festivities all maintained a decent sense of h w r . By nights end the trials and tribulations w r e over and a new cadre of Shellbacks had taken the place of the wog s . 0706 Anchored at Man-of-war anchorage, Singapore Harbor, Singapore.
