+Octopuses In the depths of the sea

Octopuses are graceful, majestic

creatures that dwell in the depths of the sea. They can squeeze into very tight spaces and they have no bones. Why don’t we learn a little bit more about these octopuses?

+Octopuses reproduce their armsJust like starfish, octopuses regrow arms (or legs).Maybe they lose their legs by hunting for food with them.

+Where it gets it’s black ink

Octopuses get their ink from an ink sac in their body.(The ink sac is naturally installed in an octopuses body.)The ink helps an octopus hide from predators so it can escape the predator. After the octopus sprayed the ink from the sac it has, the predator is blinded for enough time that the octopus can escape.

+How they squeeze into tight spaces Octopuses can squeeze into tight spaces. Having no

bones, they can squeeze into tight spaces the size of a quarter. Squeezing into tight spaces also helps an octopuses escape predators. If the predators cannot squeeze into tight spaces, they cannot eat the octopus.

+ What an octopus eats

Octopuses eat tiny crabs, scallops, fish, turtles, crustaceans.

They hunt with their arms, which probably

explains why they have the suction cups on

their arms.
