Title Slide

• The first slide of a presentation• Purpose: to introduce the topic to the

audience

Provides consistency in color and design throughout the entire presentation

Can change:Color schemeFont style and sizesLayout of presentation

Background Styles

• Have designs that may include color, shading, patterns, or textures

• Fill Effects – add pattern and texture to a background, which adds depth to a slide

• A symbol (such as a heavy dot) or other character that precedes text when the text warrant special emphasis• Creates levels for information points

LEVEL• A position within a structure, such as an

outline, that indicates the magnitude of importance

• There is a total of 5 level in PPT•Demoting – Lower level paragraph•Promoting – Higher level paragraph

MULTI-LEVEL BULLETED LIST• A slide that consists of more than one

level of bulleted text• Tab -> to indent (Demote)• Shift+Tab -> Reverse the indent

Layout

• Specifies the arrangement of placeholders on a slide

• The properties or characteristics of text•Font•Style: bold, underlined, shadow, etc.•Size•Color

Resizing

• An effect added to a slide as the presentation changes from one slide to the next

appears on your screen

SLIDE SHOW VIEW

•Fills the entire screen and allows you to see the show just as your audience would see it

slides at the same time• A thumbnail version of each slide is

displayed
