Local governmentfound DDT in soil & GW

Authorities measured air pollution (NOx, SO2, CO, benzene) to cool people down

Greenpeace testing• We tested for DDT and their metabolites &• The substances we have seen on the site in the largest

amount

Egg sampling•We collected eggs of homegrown chicken from 2 nearby gardens.•In both sample total DDT concentration was above limits (0,05 mg/kg). •In one sample 30 times higher, in the other just a bit above

We collected deposited dust samples from buildings(homes, facilities) in the area and analysed for DDT and typical for substancesfrom the site

Deposited dust sampling

Out of 11 samples 10 contained DDT /DDD/DDE: in 2 samples higherconcentration (0,374 & 0.216 ug/sample), in 3 sample signinficant and in5 small amount off DDT

3 samples with DNBS, 3 with a 3- és 4A-BTF.

Finally in 2016 the government allocated more then 1 billion HUF for the removal of the hazardous chemicalwaste from the site.Polluted ground water and soil is still on the site

As usual no responsible authorities & Polluter cannot pay, but taxpayers
