July 09, 2020 Council Room 7:00 pm Meeting was called to order by Mayor Krause with Council members were Deb,

Hejtmanek, Dylan, Illies and Irwin present. Also present were Cheryl Grenz, Richard Novotny and Garrett Irwin

Mayor Krause would like to appoint Richard Novotny to the vacant Council seat.Motion by Deb to appoint Richard Novotny to the vacant Council seat second by

Dylan with Deb and Dylan voting yes, Irwin, Illies, and Hejtmanek voting no. Motion did not pass.

Motion by Illies to appoint Garrett Irwin to the vacant Council seat second by Hejmanek with Illies, Hejtmanek and Dylan voting yes, Deb voting no and DuWayne abstaining from voting.

The Council and the City Auditor went through the budget and made some changes.The Council discussed how much economic development money the grocery store

could be given.Motion by DuWayne to get the property surveyed [on the corner of 5th Ave SE and

2nd St SE] if it’s under $1,200.00 second by Dylan with all in favor and none nay.Motion by Hejtmanek to adjourn meeting at 8:41pm seconded by Deb with all in favor
