PreparationThe surface must be clean and free fromwax and grease. If already painted,remove flaking paint by scraping or withRustins Strypit Paint and Varnish Stripper.If applying to metal, remove any rust witha scraper or with Rustins Rust Removerand apply one coat of Quick Dry RustinsRed Oxide Metal Primer. It is notnecessary to apply Knotting to knots onbare wood, but if the wood is veryabsorbent, a coat of Rustins Primer &Undercoat may be applied before applyingthe paint.

ApplicationSTIR WELL BEFORE USE: Apply liberallyand evenly with a synthetic fibre brush. Donot use below 10ºC, in damp conditions orif rain is imminent.

Re-coating TimeThe paint will be touch dry inapproximately 30 minutes depending ontemperature and humidity and can be re-coated after 2 hours.

Coverage1 litre will cover approximately 12 sq.m in1 coat depending on the absorbency of thesurface.

CleaningRemove as much paint as possible andreturn to this container. Brushes shouldthen be cleaned immediately with water. If the brushes become hard, they may becleaned with Rustins Brush Restorer orRustins Cellulose Thinners.

Disposal (pollution prevention)Some local authorities have specialfacilities for disposal of wastepaints/varnishes /coatings. Do not emptyproduct into drains or watercourses.
