Letter From The ArtistGreetings,
The 2013 Fall Collection features many of the classic themes like abstract cows, landscapes, football, portraits and more.
But what may be unique are the number of minimalist style paintings. These works feature a simple background that’s balanced nicely with energetic brushwork and colorful palettes. I can’t say it’s been my focus the past three months, but more of an observation while putting the collection together.
I also painted mostly on paper - my desired surface. I’ve always appreciated the ‘sexiness’ of pure white paper and absolutely love the freedom I have as opposed to using a pre-stretched canvas which seems to be intimidating.
Apart from that I really don’t have anything else to share about he new works.
