Reformation 500th Anniversary & Croydon Church 100th Anniversary begins tomorrow with our special Prayer session at 10:00am followed by our Health Expo. On Saturday 7th and 14th October, we invite you to wear a 16th or 19th century costume in keeping with our theme. Suggestions for women: a long sleeve blouse, a shawl, a long dark colour skirt, or a hat. Suggestion for the men: white shirt, dark colour trousers, hat, or cravat. Check online for inspiration. ANNOUNCEMENTS ~Today~
Baptismal Class: 10am. All newly baptised members and those desiring to be baptised, should join this class in the large vestry. Photographs: Today just before divine service begins Bro. Bobby Barker will be taking photographs of the congregation for our exhibition in October. If you do not want to be photographed, we kindly ask that you briefly absent yourself from the sanctuary during that time. We kindly ask that all former and current Elders who have served Croydon Church approach Bro. Bobby for their photo shoot. Lunch will be provided in the Youth Hall after the service for the children and visiting friends. AYS: 5pm. Skits “Called to Be” with songs and sharing. Free Literature Evangelism Day: We invite everyone to come and help with the distribution of our literature and invites for our October Events from 4:00-‐5:00pm.
~Looking Ahead~ Early Morning Prayer: 8:45-‐9:15am. Sessions every Sabbath throughout October. The Action Unit of Class 18: will be holding another sale in the church forecourt on Sunday 1st October from 10am-‐1pm. Health & Wellness Fair: 1st October, 11am-‐5pm. Free fitness sessions for all abilities, health talks and free books, health checks and advice, vegan cake tasters and recipes. Funeral: The funeral of Sis. Vidal's husband will be held on Thursday, 5th October at 10:45am General Conference Global day of Prayer & Fasting: 7th October. Experiencing God through Prayer & Praise. Community Services: Meeting on Sabbath 7th October at 4pm. Welling SDA church will have their community service day on the 21st October.
