CORS receiver maintenance

• GNSS receivero Uninterruptible Power Supply

(UPS)− Battery maintenance (keep

maintenance log)

o Receiver location− Protect cable connections− Select a location that is away from

the main traffic area of the room− Near power source− Secure cables

o Document firmware updates− Inform NGS if site is a National

CORS

o Surge protection− Properly grounded

o Display contact information

CORS antenna maintenance

• GNSS antennao Keep antenna surface cleano Confirm orientation of

antenna o Monitor condition of radome

(if installed)o Lighting protection

− Grounded properly− Cable connections protected

from rain/snow

o Antenna cable− Connections (sealed properly)− Check for sun damage− Routing

CORS hardware maintenance

Site maintenance
