NASA EVM CENTRAL REPOSITORY POSTING INSTRUCTIONS
Use these instructions as a guide for the EVM Central Repository monthly posting process. *All repository submittals due by end of the following month (ex. 31 Mar for Feb month end (ME) data)
PROJECT EVM POC Follow the guidelines below as month end EVM data becomes available:
☐ Empower:
• Import cost & schedule data via xml files for required in-house work
• Import cost & schedule data via xml/Empower Optimized files for required contractor formats per the contract Data Requirements Description (DRD)
☐ Windchill:
• Upload cost and schedule human readable and machine readable files (i.e. UNCEFACT, JSON) for required in-house work and contractor formats per contract DRD o IPMR Formats 1-4 human readable o IPMR format 5 (or equivalent variance analysis) if required
for all in-house & contractor work o IPMR format 6 if required* o Any native files for other required contractor formats not in Empower
• Notify the EVM Tools Admin Team (msfc-dl-evm-tools-admin@mail.nasa.gov) upon submission and include “Central Repository Submission” in the subject line.
• Verify that machine and human readable files in Windchill align with Empower data * IMS used for analysis purposes; does not meet Schedule Repository requirement unless coordinated with Schedule Repository POC
☐ Communicate monthly updates to your Center EVM Focal Point or Designee

☐ Assess what EVM data is uploaded into Windchill & Empower for each EVM project at your center • Review posting requirements above
☐ Contact Project EVM POC if any ME EVM data is missing from Windchill & Empower
☐ Communicate status on Center EVM submittals to HQ-OCFO EVM Support by the end of the following month – Current POC information can be found on the OMB Max EVM website
☐ Inform HQ of any new projects with EVM requirements

☐ Update NASA EVM Central Repository Tracker based on feedback from each Center EVM Focal Point or Designee
