NARI SEWA SAMITI, U.P.
ANNUAL REPORT
(For the year 2015--16)
Friends,
I am honored to present the Annual Report of Nari Sewa Samiti for the year 2015—16, which is a
documentation of our commitment to exacting standards. The vision for empowerment, wellbeing and equality
of women in our society dates back to 1936 when an inspirational and immortal soul Padamshri Late Smt. Mona
Chandravati Gupta started this organisation as Women's Social Service League of UP with the mission to
educate and empower women of weaker sections and bring them into mainstream. The venture over the years has
grown into a big corpus of women education, skill development and empowerment which provides social equity
to women.
The contribution of Nari Sewa Samiti is enormous and has been documented over the years. Since there can be
no real advancement of the society without women contributing to it, Nari Sewa Samiti's efforts for the
advancement of the cause has been significant . As a matter of fact the Samiti has had a path breaking effect
which happily has been followed by many other organizations as well. The tool for the advancement and
empowerment is education and we along with all our units have been tirelessly working to strengthen the same
