Inspiration is everywhere!

Welcome to Grade 12 PhysicsYou will find on your desk a bag with

physics equipment, a timer, and an instruction card

In a moment I will ask you to read the instructions and try to complete the challenge in the 60 second time limit.

Keep in mind what you learned last year about motion, energy and forces.

The other option is to view the instructions on line.

Sample Blueprint available on NBC.com

Graphic Organizer

Please transfer the graphic organizer to the white board and take 5 minutes to fill in any concepts, ideas, laws or principles you remember from grade 11 physics.

What can we do with this?

Challenge ModificationAdd a little more physics to make it even better! For example the “Flip the Cup” challenge requiring the cup to be flipped onto a bottle could be modified as follows:

The Challenge uses the same principles as before but this time includes a change in vertical and horizontal distances.

Now it is your turn to try!

Please take 10 minutes to try walk around to other stations to try out

the different challenges

Time to play!

Is there anything you can see that we could change to improve our

idea?
