Goals

1Review updates on standards implementation and assessments.

Updates on Standards Implementation

Districts should be fully aligned to the new standards for the 2014-2015 school year.

ODE has transition tools and resources available in its website.

The new generation of assessments will be implemented in the spring of 2015.

End-of-year social studies tests will be given for grades four and six.

End-of-course exams will be given in high school for American history and American government.

Passed by the Ohio General Assembly in March 2012

Affects all students entering as freshman after July 1, 2012
