Medium Voltage Switchgears and Motor Control Centers 3
Medium Voltage Switchgears are manufactured in bent steel plate profiles and enclosed on all sides by steel plate.
J The steel plates undergo an alkaline degreasing treatment, phosphatization and powdered painting J Overpressure relief devices in the top provide pressure relief in the case of internal arc J Metal divisions separate the compartments from each other for the shielded type J The general bus consists of one or more rectangular bars, in electrolytic copper with tin plated fittings and dimensioned in such a way to resist thermal and dynamic efforts
J When the bus compartment is independent for each cubicle the separation is effected by fastening and passage insulation through-plugs
J The low voltage compartment is located in the upper front part. This compartment houses the measuring instruments, protection relay, terminals, thermostats, contacts, etc., and is completely isolated from the medium voltage through a steel plate, and is fitted with its own closing door
