Motorcycling is a way of life — a lifestyle that’s about being out in the open-air, community, sport, and adventure. Today’s young and emerging riders look for brands that emulate this lifestyle. IMS is in support of this pursuit by bringing together a selection of brands that are both new and known to the industry, many of which play across multiple channels, all of which offer a fresh prospective about life on two wheels and beyond.
Welcome to Shift at IMS. A space to Explore, Shop, Socialize and Experience.
The spaceShift at IMS was inspired by gathering spaces such as bars, coffee houses and personal
motorcycle shops. This lounge-like retail environment provides something to be discov-
ered around every “corner” and a comfortable place to socialize. Proven to be an at-
tendee favorite, this space features industrial steel, concrete floors, warm tones, den-like
furniture, distressed wood, Edison bulb lighting and non-traditional retail fixtures.”
Drawings and renderings are conceptual. Exact layout and fixtures/furniture will vary.

the BrandsAs a new company with a hot new product; testing our top markets, and picking only the best shows to allocate precious inventory is of
major importance to us. This was our first time showing at the IMS, and not only did it prove to be a phenomenal show in the motorcycle
family, we were fortunate enough (we didn’t quite know it at the time) to be a part of Shift at IMS. We’ve never seen a model like Shift,
and although it sounded pretty cool, we were more interested in the efficiency of the model. Fly in with product only, and your area is
already set and ready for product? Zero booth building or setup? No driving? Really?? I wish all shows had this option; it shaved two days
off our trip and featured our product in a way standard 10x10 can’t. We loved it and will be back next year.
Joining the IMS tour allowed us to introduce ourselves to people in places that had never heard of us before. There is only so much you
can do online. Eventually you have to hit the ground and talk to people face to face. It would have been prohibitively expensive and logis-
tically intensive for our company to visit all the cities that we got to visit with IMS. And being part of the Shift lounge made it as easy as it
possibly could have been. Thousands of people got to see and hold and try on the product only because of the IMS show. We met local
dealers and have a huge collaboration in the works, all because our rack of cool motorcycle gear caught the eye of the right person.
The Shift at IMS section has been great for our brand. We are
able to reach beyond our social media demographic – as well
as encouraging our customers to come experience our brand
at the show. It’s also been a wonderful platform for us to
meet buyers, press and other industry professionals, as well
as be a part of the Motorcycle Show’s social media.

We exhibited in Shift at IMS in Washington, DC for the first time.
We had a great experience with the organization and the market-
ing of the show. SHIFT helped us get our name out to customers
that we couldn’t have reached without them. The networking
opportunity that they provide is amazing and we’ve been able to
make new connections that brought us further in our business.
