Task delegations Main responsibilities:

Bringing and delivering the cleaning items for the team.

Collecting rubbish and leaves.

Delivering and dumping the rubbish have been collected to the rubbish bin.

Weeding and cleaning the tomb area.

Asking for permission from the school, managers of the places that we decided to clean up.

Purchasing needed items such as brooms, shovels, garbage bags, gloves, etc.

Taking pictures and videos.

Preparations Listing all possible locations that we can implement our

environmentally friendly projects on.

Collaboration with the project’s CEOs to ask for any necessary permissions or procedures.

Creating an action plan to plan ahead for our projects in order to better the performance as well as to avoid any unwanted mistakes.

Preparations Organizing team meetings to discuss on what we are going to

do in our project and how we going to do it.

Listing all the needed items for the cleaning process as well as the estimated amount of money to be paid for.

Proceeding to purchase cleaning items such as brooms, shovels, bags, gloves, masks, etc.

The main activity is garbage collection in and around the lake.

Pro-actively supports from a lot of people.

1st Area: Hoan Kiem lake Youth volunteers in protecting the environment is truly

meaningful and very practical activities.

Propagating for people living around there by giving witness the enthusiasm of young people in protecting the environment. Hopefully, through our small but meaningful activity, environmental protection will be further enhanced; people will no longer littering to pollute the environment.

2nd Area: Mai Dich Cemetery

The Mai Dich Cemetery in Hanoi has the graves of government leaders, famous revolutionaries and soldier killed in combat.

Present at the cemetery, we quickly split into small groups to carefully clean the area around the tomb corridor, wiping the road near the monument, and clean up the weeds after rainy season.

gratitude of youth to our past generations, raising awareness of young people.

Enhance our consciousness in keeping; embellishing the cemeteries, monuments of heroes, martyrs.

Difficulties Do not have enough equipments to clean up trash such as garbage

trolley...

Weather: the rainy season made the tasks seem to be impossible for us because the roads were wet and everything got dirtier.

Difficulties Contacting with the managers of the places we intended to

implement our project.

Evaluation Each members of our team had an enthusiastic and hard-

working attitude with our work

Working enthusiastically together to clear and remove rubbish around Hoan Kiem Lake and Mai Dich cemetery

Evaluation Base on Completeness of

our work, our first plan was about cleaning rubbish around Hoan Kiem Lake and propaganda about protecting our environment by biking.

There was a change in our plan, however our work in the two places still completed in the best way.

Lessons How to organize a team, how to delegate the tasks among members, how to

cooperate and interact as well as assist other team members in order to perform our best and achieve the greatest results.

Find a more rewarding and meaningful way to utilize our time, to enjoy our lives in its fullest.

Understand the relationship between people and the surrounding environment and see the need to get involved to protect it for our future sustainability

Learn to not only live and think for our own self, but to give and share with other people.

How to deal with unexpected problems, become more creative and proactive, cooperate and work together with others, think critically, etc.
