SEP 23 – Listening for and Coping with Loss Ted Bowman, Grief and Family Educator
No matter who you are, we all experience a great deal of loss.
A casual comment or a more explicit statement deserves acknowledgement and presence. In this brief workshop, perspectives and tools about what to say and do when accounts of loss are shared will be presented, demonstrated, and discussed. Further, effective ways to refer someone to another resource and cope with your own losses will be included. Attention to care during the pandemic will also be addressed. Ted Bowman is a grief and family educator. For over 40 years he has worked with agencies, schools and medical and mental health providers in sessions related to loss, grief, resiliency and honest hope.
