I live here…

The Oregon Coast

But I went to school here…

I work as a Public Relations Coordinator

which means

I provide opportunities for the community to engage in philanthropy and

volunteerism &

build and maintain positive agency relations with the public.

I help organizations go from this…

…to this!

How do I do this?

My favorite methods involverecruiting and coordinating volunteers

&providing opportunities for youth.

Like this…

Coordinated service trip to Washington, DC for 12 Oregon teens.Volunteer projects included:

National Parks ServiceGlen Echo Park cleanup;

Volunteering with Baltimore Boys and Girls Club;

Meeting with Rep. Defazio to discussthe importance of supporting rural coastal communities.

and this…

Organized a storm drain mural project with City of Coos Bay, the Coos Watershed Association, and local teens to raise awareness about protecting the watershed!

…and this!

Coordinated educational tours and invasive English Ivy removal at South Slough National Estuarine Reserve with 28 teens.

Organized college credit and national certifications for participants.

I help organizations thrive by using my writing ability, web savvy, and community organizing skills to mobilize resources to

address critical needs.

Recent Accomplishments:

• Published in regional and national publications.• Successfully secured $100,000+ in grant funds in

the last fiscal year.• Coordinated multiple fundraising events.• Received Certification in Wilderness First Aid.• Voted “Project sponsor of the year” 2011 by AmeriCorps NCCC Pacific Region.

I am excited about new horizons…

I would love to live and work here!
