For drawings, the scale indicates the ratio of the size of the drawing of the part or machine to its actual size.

Recommended practice:

What is Title Block?1. Contains vital part and/or assembly

information (drawing scale, angle of projection, part name, tolerances etc…)

2. Each organization can have its own unique version of a title block although there are different standards of title blocks (ANSI, DIN, ISO, JIS etc..)

3. Usually situated at the base of the drawing sheet with a border enclosing the drawing views.
