KATE BLEW the STICKS CLEAN

When Kate was growing up she loved to blow out the many small candlesticks on the birthday cake. Kate was the only member of the family that always blew them all out in one breath. After years of watching, grandpa cheered, “KATE BLEW the STICKS CLEAN!”

Kate’s Knee is Plenty Sore

8 x 3 = 24

Kate trains for marathons by running 3 times a week. During her 3rd day this week Kate fell on her knee at mile 3. That’s why Kate’s knee is plenty sore!

Kate’s Floor had Dirty Poo!

Kate’s dog is 4 years old and very smart. When Kate came outside at 4 pm she saw the mess on the floor she screamed! The dog quickly fixed the problem because Kate’s floor had dirty poo!

Kate Drives a Sporty

8 x 5 = 40

Kate saved money for 5 years to buy a new car. Her last 5 cars were old and slow. Kate bought a small sporty convertible. Her 5 best friends now say: “Kate drives a sporty!”

KATE FIX the SHORTY CAKE

8 x 6 = 48

Kate’s son, Kevin, loves to eat the special Strawberry Shortcake that his mom fixes. When young Kevin saw Kate begin to slice strawberries, he would run around singing,“Kate fix the shorty cake. Kate fix the shorty cake.”

Kate’s Kevin ate 50 Trix

8 x 7 = 56

Kevin wanted Trix for breakfast every day. His mom, Kate, knew too much sugar was bad for growing young boys. She said “You can have only 50 Trix along with your healthy breakfast. So everyday, Kate’s Kevin ate Fifty Trix.

Kate Ate The Sticky S’more

8 x 8 = 64

When Kate was 8 her dad would always make s’mores by the campfire. Kate loved to wait for the last s’more because dad would use the rest of the marsh mellows making the last one. Even though it was icky, Kate Ate The Sticky S’more.

KATE’S FINE is $72

Kate loved to drive her new sports car fast. She drove it nine years before any trouble. One day on 8/9/72 Kate was given a speeding ticket. Kate’s fine is $72.
