Objectives for the Nurse Educator Track
Provides an opportunity to acquire teaching skills and
strategies that address student, program and patient out-
comes as well as leadership skills to improve health care.
Prepares a unique graduate who possesses a strong clinical
foundation, leadership skills, and extensive knowledge of
teaching and learning. This track requires clinical and edu-
cational practice.
Develop nursing leaders with expert knowledge of com-
plex health problems who will lead and or improve nursing
practice in Worcester, the Commonwealth, and beyond.

faculty and staff devel-
opment roles. The cur-
riculum is designed to
educate students to
improve and transform
health care through
systems leadership, re-
search translation, and
advanced clinical
knowledge. Graduates
are prepared to as-
sume leadership roles
in hospitals and com-
munity-based settings,
health care organiza-
tions, and schools of
nursing as clinical fac-
ulty.
