After the Villa NM has burned down our assignment was to create a pavillion that pays respect to the previous structure, and to the owners’ interest in art and design, by creating an Art Pavillion

We �rst had to create tile, or module, wich we would utilize to aid us in the design process.

We had to respect the envelope of previous structure. We could not exceed it.

The end product of would have to show some connection to the Villa NM.05

06I chose to research the way that human regenerates after a burn. After a burn the human body responds by producing “frame” structure cells, called Fibroblasts, and places them where the previous frames existed. Once the frame is in place the skin cells are placed between the frames and completes the surface.
