2013-14 Enrollment Timeline
EFE and EFA follow an operational timeline to set the countywide enrollment matrix and budget. The following timeline must be followed to insure a smooth transition into the 2013-14 school year.

BEFORE YOU LEAVE YOUR BUILDING FOR SUMMER BREAK… Please send to our office:
1. EFE and EFA Applications for enrolled students – we will pass these on to the teachers in the fall. 2. Master schedule – we need to verify compliance with state standards. (At the very least, we need the entire year
class schedule for each EFE and Family & Consumer Science teacher. Electronic copies are preferred.)
MID-AUGUST EFE and EFA will send out to enrolled students a memo introducing students to program locations, transportation, etc Copies of this mailing will also be sent to the high school front office and counseling departments. NOTE: Buildings MUST continue to update the on-line system, through September 20 (tentative). This system’s data builds program class lists that support enrollment and attendance reporting.

March 20 at 3:00 pm – ENROLLMENT CUT-OFF DATE FOR HOLDING SEATS EFE and EFA enrolled and WAIT LIST students must be entered on the on-line system by this time. If schools do not use all of their allotted EFE seats in a program by this date, their
seats may be given to students on a waiting list from another district. EFA may request the schools adjust their enrollments if other schools are unable to
enroll students. On March 21 and 22, system will be unavailable to users as EFE and EFA
make the necessary changes to the system.
March 25 @8AM – The on-line system reopens for editing of wait lists, filling newly opened seats, and continued enrollments. If a high school has been awarded additional EFE seats, they will be reserved only until 3PM on April 9th. Countywide open enrollment begins April 10 at 8AM. Schools can view availability through the on-line system and enroll accordingly.
On April 12 (Per Superintendent request), in-house counts are due. Communicate to the KRESA EFE office the number (we do not need names) of
students enrolled in each non-transfer EFE program (BMA, Accounting, Marketing, etc.) by class times of each section.
Email, mail or call this information to Karen, Christine or Jim.
