Start, Control Panel

Network and Sharing Center

Manage wireless networks

Add

Manually create a network profile

Network name: eduroam or eduroamg etc.

Please, Be careful! If you want to connect in the Faculty of Education, the Security type is

802.1x and the Encryption type is WEP.

Change connection settings...

Choose Certification Authorities AddTrust External CA Root or UTN-USERFirst-Hardware

and Configure:

Connect to...

Choose eduroam and connect

If everything is ok, you´ll see:

Username UP Students is their Portal ID: (Portal ID)@upol.cz, for example 20021346@upol.cz Your Portal ID can be found at http://portal.upol.cz in contacts. Guests UP use the network upol-guest. For login data for the connecting, please contact your network administrator.
