and animal behavior through understand the mental processes,
personality, emotion, perception, development, thoughts, motives,
social behavior, and the biological bases of behavior, thoughts,
and emotions. Students majoring in psychology also learn about the
experimental methods often used in this field. Majoring in
Psychology at Wake Forest should provide students with a strong
foundation of theory and research within various areas of
psychology. Also, methodological, laboratory, and statistical
skills that are also refined while analyzing and contributing to
research. Directed study and honors program opportunities allow
students to work directly with faculty members on research.
