This interface allows updating status of the item submitted for repair, set the repair cost and allows to include technician’s comment (all changes in this interface would be displayed at user’s dashboard on frontend)

Invoices creationTo create the invoice for repair works, it is obligatory to set item status to at least ‘diagnosed’. Then on the Diagnosed listing page, check checkbox next to the item that need to be invoiced,in ‘Actions’ field choose ‘Create invoice’ action and click ‘Submit’ button. See the image:

Repair Services

You can download the extension archive from 'My Account' section at iKantam store - check under 'My Downloadable Products'. To install the extension please follow these steps:

• First, you need to log in to the Magento administrator area. Then go to System -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager.

• A new page will open for the Magento Connect Manager and you will be asked to provide your administrative credentials again. These are security measures, please log in using your admin access.

Repair Services

• Once logged in you will see 2 sections: Extensions and Settings. It is recommended to verify the options chosen in the Settings section first. In the Settings section there are several options you can configure, but leaving the default values is recommended.

• Go to Extensions section, find the tab “Direct package file upload” and upload the archive that you’ve received from us to magento. That’s it - you’ve installed the extension.

• Don’t forget to go to the admin area > System > Cache Management, click 'Select All', choose 'Refresh' option in the dropdown and click 'Submit' button.

Important Note: After you are done with the extension installation, Logout from the Magento administrator area. After your next log in you’ll be able to use all the extension functionality.

Follow these steps:

• First, you need to log in to the Magento administrator area. Then go to System -> Magento Connect -> Magento Connect Manager.

• At the bottom of the Extensions section find the list of all installed extensions. Find 'Repair Services' extension. In the Action dropdown select 'Uninstall' and click 'Commit Changes'

Con�guration and Usage

By default product page serves as a Form for repair requests that is why it is necessary to create special product, product type should be ‘Repairable product’. To do it go to catalog->manage products and create new product. See the image

After that all options of the extension would be available at: Sales->Service Requests

By hovering the mouse over ‘Service Requests’ item administrator would be presented with all options available, and the options are:

• waiting for reception – listing of all submitted requests (new requests); • diagnosed – listing of all diagnosed items, status should be updated manually by store manager at back end (admin area);• received – listing of all received items by the store owner, status should be updated manually by store manager at back end (admin area);• Under repair – listing of the processing repairs, updated manually in backend by store manager;• Need to be sent – listing of all repaired items that are ready to be sent to the customer, updated manually in backend by store manager;• Sent to Customer - listing of all sent to customer items;• Invoices – listing of all invoices, invoiced to customers.

Note: On each listing page it is possible to click on item and update the item’s status which will trigger the update of the status at user‘s dashboard on frontend.

The query interface includes 2 tabs: General Information and Status Information tabs.

General Information tab:

Interface presents General information about the request, such as Request #, Customer name, details about the item submitted for repair, date of the package shipment by customer and tracking #. Also here store admin could update the date of reception, start date of repair and end date of repair.
