Turkish Cargo has been continuing to grow along with Turkish Airlines in recent years. We, at Turkish Cargo, would like to share our excitement for our new freighter destinations, made possible by our newly delivered freighters.

Turkish Cargo, a subsidiary brand of Turkish Airlines, has been able to maintain its ever-evolving and rapid development despite the ongoing effects of the global economic crisis of 2008. While other airlines and cargo carriers were making cuts to their operations and traffic volume due to the economic crisis, Turkish Cargo raised its whole and parcel shipment volumes to 387.703 tons in 2011, an increase of %23,66 from 313.517 tons achieved in 2010. Also, Turkish Cargo has been the rising star among all European carriers, by delivering %38,7 FTK growth in 2011. In comparison with an average %2,8 for other AEA member carriers, thus making Turkish Cargo the number one European carrier in terms of growth. We cemented trust and dedication in our brand by acquiring two new-generation Airbus A330-200F offering long range services with wide body fuselage, with a further three A330-200F freighters to be delivered in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Concerning new fleet additions have enabled Turkish Cargo to make direct scheduled cargo flights to long haul destinations, starting with Shanghai and Hong Kong in 2010. Thanks to our second A330-200F, we are now providing high quality cargo services to new destinations in Europe, Central Asia and Middle East (such as Moscow, Stockholm, Budapest, Mumbai, Lagos, Jeddah and Riyadh).

Turkish Airlines is in the eighth rank in the international arena in the world in terms of network, continues to expand its fleet by acquiring Boeing 777 and Airbus A330 planes, new generation freighters with a wide-body fuselage and extended range.
