This Help Sheet assists Mac OS X 10.7 users to access the Secure Wireless Network (UOS_Secure).

1. Click on the Apple menu at the top of the task bar and select

System Preferences.

2. In the System Preferences window select Network.

3. Preform the following steps:

3.1 Select the Turn Wi-Fi On button.

3.2 Click on the padlock to unlock the interface if locked.

3.3 Click on Advanced.

4. Select the Secure Wireless Network (UOS_SECURE) from the

Network Name list.

5. You will be prompted to enter your IT Account username

and password. After entering these click OK.

6. A Verify Certificate will appear. Click

Continue.

7. A Certificate will appear to verify the changes

made to the settings. Enter your device name and password and select Update Settings.

8. A screen confirming all the details will appear.

Select Apply.

9. You should now be able to access the Internet using the UOS_Secure Network.

Updating your password If you have to update your password you may need to do the following:

1. Type Keychain Access in the search bar at the top of the home screen.

2. Click on the Passwords tab.

3. Click on the UOS_Secure and select Delete.
