Lucky, Bucky and their GO-sticks.

It was a nice sunny day. Grandma was babysitting Lucky and little Bucky while their parents had gone to the market.

Lucky and Bucky were bored; very bored! They had played bat-ball, piggy-back and jumping but after some time, each game had gone wrong! “ Oh

grandma! Please help us! “ they said with tears in their eyes.

Grandma smiled and nodded. She loved her grand children and wanted them to be happy. She walked to their store-shed and searched inside for some sturdy bamboo sticks, some wheels , some yarn and some this and that.

When Grandma emerged from the shed, she had two funny some-things in her hand. She handed one each to Lucky and Bucky and said,“ Go and play

with these!”

Lucky and Bucky were very happy. Lucky caught the stick firmly and pushed back and forth. It rolled smoothly. “I’ll call this a GO-stick!” he said merrily.

“Look how it rolls! It’s cool! I like it!”

Lucky thanked Grandma for the Go-stick.

Bucky too thanked Grandma for the GO-stick. They began to play.

Little Bucky ran in the meadow with his GO-stick. It was so rolly and nice! It went wheeee! He was very happy!

Lucky too ran in the meadow. He too was very happy! “One day I’ll circumambulate the earth with my Go-stick” he declared. “OH Grandma !

Thank you for the wonderful GO-stick! We Love you!”

Lucky and Bucky didn’t let go their Go-stick . Grandma was very happy and watched lovingly.
