Review how to conjugate -ar verbs:

1. Split the verb stem from the ending.

1. Hablar = habl + ar

2. Add the ending to the stem depending on the subject (who does the action):

1. Hablo español con mis amigos.

2. Estudiamos todos los días.

3. Las chicas compran las camisetas.

-er and -ir verbs

• You do the same thing with -er and -ir verbs.

• First you split the stem from the verb Leer (to read) = le + er Escribir (to write) = escrib + ir
