The Los Angeles County Department of Public Social Services (DPSS) provides community outreach services for Medi-Cal and CalFresh by deploying DPSS Eligibility Workers throughout Los Angeles County at sites such as:

◦ Hospitals/Clinics

◦ Schools

◦ Faith-based/Community Organizations

◦ EDD/Worksource Centers

◦ Grocery/Farmers’ Market

◦ Various community events

◦ Collaboration with other County Departments

DPSS Community Outreach• Eligibility Workers participates in various community outreach

activities and provide on-site CalFresh and Medi-Cal program information and enrollment assistant.
