Hi, Kathy Hello Emily

Welcome to London! Follow me!

Hi, Mr. Bean

London is the capital of the UK. It is a very big city. About 8 million

people live here.

… and now, let’s go to the Queen.

Buckingham Palace was built in 1703 and it is the biggest royal palace in the world. It is the official residence of the British monarchs.

… the Big Ben - the nickname for the great bell of

the clock.

The bridge was officially opened on 30 June 1894. The bridge consists of two towers tied together at the upper level by means of two

horizontal walkways. It is a bascule bridge so the ships can sail under it when it opens.

If you do not meet the Queen in a street of London, you can

see her in the Madame Tussauds Museum.

You can see here wax figures of actors,

pop stars, sportsmen, politicians and many

famous people.

Let’s come back to the city centre.

The taxi is waiting.

The London Eye is

a giant Ferris wheel situated on the banks of the River Thames in London. You can

see the whole London from the

height of 135 metres.

135 metres! Was it scary?

This is the end. Kathy and Emily, thank you for your visit and goodbye.

Goodbye and thank you Mr. Bean!

THANK YOU FOR YOUR ATTENTION
