food processing to heat treatment.
Spiral wire belts can be manufactured
from a range of materials including mild
steel or stainless steel, through to high
temperature alloys like Inconel 601®.
Belts are available in different wire
diameters, from 0.71mm to 8.0mm, and
widths to suit your application.
The woven spiral wire range includes:
Balance, Gratex, Cormel, Duplex,

Plastic Hybrid
Hybrid belts combine the versatility of plastic with the strength of stainless steel. They’re ideal for a wide variety of applications, particularly the cooler temperature environments including seafood processing equipment through to freezer applications. Attachments such as side plate and cross flights combined with standard chain drive increase the range of applications further.
• Suitable for light products• No spotting issues caused by oily products
Lo Tension
The range of Lo Tension belts are designed to eliminate the need to transfer goods between belts. These belts operate in an extended range of temperatures; from cryogenic freezers to moderate temperature ovens. PleaserefertoourTechnicalDataSheets forfurtherinformation.
• Easy cleaning• Compact foot-print• Simple single drive
Spiral systems offer significant advantanges including decreased dwell time, a smaller footprint and increased production capacity. Spiral systems ranging up to 1400 metres long in a compact multi tier tower, offer easy cleaning and reduce wear on belts and other conveyor system components, typically reducing down time and replacement costs.

Rolmat
Rolmat belts provide a flat conveying surface
with maximum open area for free air and/or
water flow. Rolmat belts are the number one
choice as they overcome tracking errors,
and belt/pulley slip, while also providing
a very flat even surface, minimising wear
and tear. The belts are constructed with
precision formed wire ribbon joined by
straight connecting rods. Rolmat belts are
available in standard or heavy duty ribbons,
in a variety of materials, in any length or
width. The large open areas in Rolmat
belts allow for easy cleaning and airflow
for product cooling, making them ideal for
washing, cooling and baking applications.

• High strength to weight ratio for
increased capacity
• Reduce tracking errors
• Reduce belt/pulley slip
Unigrid / Spiragrid
The Unigrid / Spiragrid belts can change
direction and travel along different
planes, hence they can be used to replace
several separate conventional units, each
with their own drive and transfer systems.
This contributes to reduce both the initial
installation cost and annual running
costs. The unique construction of this
range gives it the versatility for many
applications including freezing, heating,
drying, cooking or transportation. The
large open areas in either belt allow for
easy cleaning and airflow for product
cooling, while the optional overlay
available for Spiragrid adds additional
support where necessary.

Flex grid
Flex grid belts are ideal for lightweight
products in both straight-line and
turn conveyor applications. Flex grid
conveyors are constructed with parallel
wires, in a variety of steel grades, wire
sizes, and belt widths. Flex grid systems
use slider supports at, or near both
edges of the belt, on both the load and
return passes, rather than supports
under the full width of the belt. Flex grid
is sprocket driven, using two sprockets
on each head and tail shaft.

Uniflex
A highly flexible belt made up of
interlocking strands of high tensile wire.
These belts ensure perfect tracking as
they are positively driven by Stainless
Steel or Nylon Sprockets within the
wire mesh. Uniflex Belts have unlimited
applications in drying, washing, coating,
cooking, cooling and inspection to
name a few. The belts vary in number of
Spaces across the width, pitch and wire
diameter. Uniflex belts are made to an
overall width as requested.

Belt Selection Process
Selection of the type of belt should be made in
conjunction with all the known features of the process
and application that will have any effect on the belt
performance. Consideration should be given to the
requirement for circulation for heating, cooling, washing
and drying mediums through the fabric. The diameter
of head, tail and other rollers require consideration, as
these determine the efficiency of drive and to a degree
the service life of the belt. The type and location of the
drive (as separate from the chain drive) also effect the
type of belt chosen.
In order to ensure the correct belt selection, it is
important to gather as much information as possible
regarding the requirements of your system. As you
understand the requirements of the system, you are in
the best position to provide this information. In some
circumstances the designer of the installation will also
hold some of the required details. In order for us to fully
understand your system and requirements, please refer
to and complete the Belt Specification Questionnaire,
Technical Data Sheet.
