Exodus 2:1-3Now a man from the house of Levi

went and took as his wife a Levite woman. The woman conceived and bore a son, and when she saw that he was a fine child, she hid him three months. When she could hide him no longer, she took for him a basket made of bulrushes and daubed it with bitumen and pitch. She put the child in it and placed it among the reeds by the river bank.

Exodus 2:1-3We are thus introduced to the man

God used to save the people of Israel from Egyptian bondage.

Moses lived 120 years and provided a great example for us of how we should live today.

His life contains many great lessons besides the one's we are discussing today.

Instead we see Moses as the man who was in Mt. Sinai 40 days and nights.

We see him as a bold and courageous leader of God's people.

We see him as someone who defied the rebellion of Korah, Dathan, and Abijah

MeeknessMeekness is a trait which all we as

Christians should have. Notice Matthew 5:5 "Blessed are the meek: for they shall inherit the earth."

Meekness is one of the items listed in the fruit of the Spirit. Gal.5:23

It is something that we need to receive God's word. James 1:21 "Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls."

that he found a place with God in heaven
