Lesson summary:
Teacher shows picture cards of familiar cartoons to pupils. Teacher will play a song entitle My Friend for the student to listen.Teacher will sing the song and pupils will follow. Teacher will teach the students the meaning of new words. Teacher will instructstudents to go around and ask their friends basic biodata. Teacher will provide a mini booklet to each pupil. Pupils will create a minibiography booklet entitled My Friend based on their creativity. Teacher wraps up the lesson by singing the song again with pupils.
Learning Outcomes:
1.2 Listen to and repeat accurately the correct pronunciation ofwords, and the correct intonation and word stress ofphrases, expressions, and sentences
1.6 Listen to and enjoy the rhyme, rhythm, and sounds ofpoems, jazz chants and songs.
