Robots is a system that contains sensors, control systems, manipulators, power supplies and software all working

together to perform a task. Designing, building, programming and testing a robots is a combination of

physics, mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, structural engineering, mathematics and computing

•  It is a great tool to teach experimentation, technology, critical thinking, programming, invention, teamwork, design, building inspires thought and creativity. •  Robots can transform abstract ideas and principles into concrete, real-world understanding.

•  The process of investigation is a self reinforcing process which is very rewarding and throughout the process the students are engaged in complex, strategic problem-solving, computational thinking and higher-order thinking.

Remotely Operated Vehicle

•  A Remotely Operated Vehicle (ROV) is essentially a tethered underwater robot that allows the vehicle's operator to remain in a comfortable environment while the ROV works in the hazardous environment below.
