Dorm Leaders are not receiving enough training
SGA Leadership Conference
Our concern is that dorm leaders are not meeting SGA Standards
As SGA we feel the need to have leaders to help take the initiative and to help create a more positive and stable living environment while residing on campus.
All students must have a formal training while occupying a leadership position.
All Leaders must stay on either a Bronze ,silver Or Gold phase level to maintain a leadership position.
All student must complete community service monthly and also attend leadership training which will be held the 2nd and 4th Thursday of the month.

When we start to see all leaders display leadership skills.
See campus as being a more positive environment.
When we notice all student maintain a required phase level, And have completed the necessary leadership training to occupy a leadership position.
We see our campus life being more positive environment and our dorm leader acting in a professional manner.

In Conclusion
Our concern is that there are too many student that are holding a leadership position and don’t meet any qualifications to be on a form of leadership. We need leaders who's actions express priorities and professionalism.
Our challenge is to Empower CJCC to take charge of their leadership positions by staying focus and engaged in all formal training and classes.

In 1965 Cleveland Job corps became the 1st job corps to be an all woman job corps
In two decades the Cleveland job corps trained over 12,000 mostly African American woman, from out of state.
Job corps recruited High school drop outs from ages 16-21
Job corps maintain a house at 1588 Ansel rd. for nearly 400 girls until 1971, where they then relocated to the tour arms hotel on 107th and Carnegie only woman lived there until 1976 when men was accepted into the program.
