Landscape Drip Kit (LDK200) Assembly Instructions

1. Screw ¾” hose vacuum breaker (WKBFP8) onto existing hose faucet.

2. Screw (AP106) onto inlet side of the pressure regulating drip filter (YF07PR30) using Teflon tape. Pay close

attention to the flow arrow on the side of the filter.

3. Next screw the ¾” threaded coupling (C07T) onto the pressure regulating drip filter using Teflon tape.

4. Next screw the tubing adapter (16MPT07) into the threaded coupling (C07T) using Teflon tape.

5. Screw the nut on the tubing adapter towards the threaded coupling (C07T). Next connect the 5/8” drip

tubing (XBS100) to the tubing adapter and then tighten the nut onto the tubing.

6. Unroll the drip tubing (XBS100) along the base of your plants. Use tees (16T), elbows (169L), and couplings

(16C) where necessary to direct the tubing throughout the landscape.

7. Cut the 5/8” drip tubing (XBS100) at the end of each run and install the drip tubing end clamps (16EC).

8. Punch the drip emitters (CETAPC04) into the drip tubing (XBS100) using the emitter tool (CETATOOL) at the

base of each plant. Make sure the barbed side of the emitter with the angle cut is the side inserted into

the tubing. If you are not able to locate the 5/8” drip tubing directly into the root zone of a plant, you can

use the ¼” distribution tubing (DT025100) to extend the flow from the emitter over to the root zone. See

Fig. 1 for details.

9. When installing micro-sprinklers start by using the drip punch (PUNCH125) to start a pilot hole in the 5/8”

drip tubing (XBS100). Install a ¼” coupling (HRFCC0400) into the tubing and attach the ¼” distribution

tubing (DT025100). Cut the distribution tubing to length and attach it to the spray stake (MJSTAKEB).

Screw the micro-sprayer (XS90, XS180, or XS360) onto the spray stake. Adjust the micro-sprayer to point

towards the area to be irrigated. Adjust the flow control knob on the micro-sprayer to cover the area.

Frequently Asked Questions

1. Should I use drip emitters or micro-sprays to water my plants? Drip emitters are used primarily for

watering shrubs and trees. Micro-sprays are best used for watering smaller plants such as annuals and

perennials that are spaced close together.

2. Can I adjust the flow rate of the micro-sprinklers? Yes. Each micro-sprinkler has a valve that will allow

you to adjust the flow rate and distance of throw.

3. Will the drip system run all the emitters and micro-sprinklers at one time? Yes.

4. Can I automate my LDK200 drip kit? Yes. With the addition of a hose faucet timer (HFTIMER) you can

program the number of start times, watering days, and watering length in order to water automatically.

5. Should I have parts left over once I install the LDK200 drip kit? Yes. The landscape drip kit is designed for

maximum flexibility in watering your landscape. There are additional fittings included in the kit in case you

may need them in the future.

6. What is the flow rate of the drip emitters? Each emitter is designed to deliver one gallon per hour of run

time. The flow rate of the micro-sprinklers is 0-30 gallons per hour depending on the adjustment of each

valve.
