• 5-7 October, 2016, Vilnius with field trips to Natura 2000 sites of “Labanoras” and “Aukštadvaris”

• 86 participants: experts and practionioners from institutions and stakeholders;

• participants from 5 BOR member states and BE, CZ, HU/PL, NL;

Main topics discussed

• Integrated management approaches to Natura 2000;• Approaches to setting restoration priorities and targeting

the resources;• Communication and stakeholder engagement;• Setting conservation priorities.

• 4 thematic working groups and 4 habitat working groups;

• round table on large carnivores and presentation of management practices in the country.

Knowledge market

• 18 projects/initiatives presented;• thematic variety: from economies of cultural landscapes,

via urban cows and prescriptive burning of taiga forest habitats to stones in the streams of Natura 2000 rivers.
