Wells Wilder Casten is the youngest of our family’s 6th

generation. Her name is derived from the Wellington boot,

first commissioned by the Duke of Wellington in 1815. A nod

to our farming heritage, wellies are a hallmark of country life,

both hardy and elegant. Fittingly, our Welly has a singular

love of gumboots and tutus, a teeny starburst in the vineyard

and on the street. Like its spirited namesake, our Welly

Cabernet Sauvignon is unabashedly expressive and pure.

This wine is our tribute to her, and to our family’s 140

years of turning dirt into liquid splendor.
