plantas y nutrientes.
Tecnologías emergentes: presente y futuro
LA COMPLEJIDAD DE LA NUTRICIÓN VEGETAL:
Aspectos fisiológicos, moleculares, genéticos y microbiológicos a considerar
Hongos
micorrícicos (85 % plantas)
Rizobios (leguminosas)
PGPR
Estos microorganismos: - Mejoran la captación de
fosfatos, nitratos y amonio
- Protegen frente a estreses bióticos y abiótics

UPM
Bilateral Research Contracts
Joint Research Centre
SACCHAROME: Rationale
1. Sustainability of intensive sugarcane culture over the years • > 30 yrs with no fertilization for some varieties, esp. in São
Paulo state • The plant needs 100 – 150 kg N / Ha + P, water • Role of associated microorganisms (J. Döbereiner)
2. Importance and future of sugarcane as bioenergetic crop • 7 E6 Ha @ 75-150 Tm biomasa /Ha (Brazil) • Bio-ethanol Brazilian model (7000 l/Ha) • Possibilities for improvement AND expansion
HYPOTHESIS: Key role of the microbiome in crop
sustainability (nutrition, hormone synthesis, bio-control)
