2. Bell System - All TVA extensions listed in this directory may bereached via the Bell telephone system by dialing.. plus thefour-digit extension. All area codes are unless otherwise noted.
3. FTS - The U.S. government FTS access code for Knoxville is TheTVA extensions listed may be reached by dialing plus the four-digitextension.
4. Dedicated Emergency Telephone Lines
The primary TVA emergency communication system consists of a networkof dedicated Bell point-to point ringdown circuits. This network isindependent of other telephone systems and is not susceptible tooverload conditions. The KEC has dedicated circuits to the followinglocations:
A. Division of Nuclear Power Emergency Center (DNPEC)
B. Muscle Shoals Emergency Center (MSEC)
C. Onsite Technical Support Center at each operating TVA nuclearplant (multiple point circuit includes DNPEC and MSEC).
