TS “Balcony unit”… Where is the balcony?

It’s here! USA15 level 3

5th Thermosyphon Workshop 320 October, 2011

Where is the compressor room to connect the “balcony unit”?

Keep in mind this white column!!!

…and this cable tray

The white column is a part of the

USA15 ventilation

system.

Where is the bottom part?

Conclusion

• There are 3D models for all “Balcony unit” components.• The preliminary design is ready.• The design of the supporting frame will be ready soon after approval of all the components.• The strength of the balcony needs a confirmation from the CERN civil engineering.
