The drop in student enrollment from Fall of 2015 to Spring of 2016 is in result of BC capturing the

majority of students during the fall semester so those students would not be taking another dual

enrollment course until the following high school year.

to College Completion

Grantee will support a partnership between Bakersfield College (BC) and Kern

High School District (KHSD) to 1) align math curriculum between KHSD and BC

faculties, and 2) increase the number of KHSD students who graduate high school

ready for college-level coursework.
