There is only a small number of Hopi Artists
Katchina dolls are made for children
The Hopi tribe uses Katchina dolls to represent their culture
and what is important to them.
Katchina Dolls teach children about their religion and culture
Hopi children are NOT allowed to “play” with them. They take very special care of their Katchina Dolls.
Authentic Katchina Dolls are only made by Hopi artists.
We will create our OWN Katchina doll. We will represent what is important in our own lives!
