Certificate IV Ageing Support is a nationallyrecognised qualification designed for thoseworking, or intending to work, in the aged careor community sector.
This qualification reflects the role of supportworkers who complete specialised tasks andfunctions in aged services; either in residential,home or community based environments.Workers will take responsibility for their ownoutputs within defined organisation guidelinesand maintain quality service delivery throughthe development, facilitation and review ofindividualised service planning and delivery.
Workers may be required to demonstrateleadership and have limited responsibility forthe organisation and the quantity and quality of outputs of others within limited parameters.
