Associate Director’s Message

Dear MITSOBians,

Greetings!

Hope you all are fine and doing great in your life. The month June 2015 witnessed a couple of events. I would like to share

few information such as students of 32nd batch completed their Summer Internship and joined on 08th June. MITSOB

organised welcome function on their arrival. Few students have been awarded and the names of General Secretary and

Deputy General Secretary (Male & Female) were also announced on that function.

On 15 June 2015 inaugural function was organized for the newly joined students of 33rd Batch. I must place on record that

on that occasion few members of Alumni Association visited MITSOB to interact with the students of new batch and

showed them the pathway to become a successful manager after completion of this 2 years PGDM program.

In this month few clubs have announced the name of new set of office bearers for the academic year 2015-2016.

Engineers club, Business club, Editorial club, Sports club, Phoenix club are amongst them.

Regarding club activities, editorial club has published 59th B Capsule Vol-1, Issue- 2 on 26th June, Trekking to Rajgad for

32nd and 33rd batch students was jointly organized by Trekking Club of MITSOB & 3 Point Adventures on 28th June 2015,

Cultural Club has organized Talaash - Talent Hunt Competition on 29th of June with full enthusiasm and zeal, Business

club has organized an event Business Bazigar on 30th June, Photography Club Launch the first Edition of Wide Angle

- a digital Magazine that represents entire MITSOB. The facebook link of that is as www.facebook.com/pc.mitsob/

It gives me immense pleasure and pride to inform you that student magazine Anubhuti is published its fourth

consecutive year with a bigger pride. This magazine is a platform for the students to put forth their experiences, views

and opinions and to promote academic brilliance. It is a common ground for sharing of innovations.

I am proud to mention here that not only our alumni are doing very well in their profession but also helping our current

students through their valuable guidance in Summer Internship as internal project guide.

With good wishes,

Prof. (Dr.) Amit K. Sinha

initial capital investment. A team could have a maximum of 4- 5 members only. There were no divisional barriers in

The teams came up with various innovative business ideas. No stone was left unturned; we promoted the

event across the entire staff of MITSOB. All the staff members came and shared a moment of joy with the

participants while they gave wings to their ideas. Each team came up with their own business idea.

Everyone was enthusiastic about their business idea and was confident enough to make business out of it.
